I understand that hiring a dog walker is more than just making sure your dog is exercised. Each walk is tailored to each individual dog/group and filled with plenty of enrichment and care.
Whether you're at work or away on holiday, you can relax knowing your pet is well cared for. After every service, I'll send you a photo and/or video update, along with a brief summary, so you're always kept in the loop.
For me, being a pet professional is much more than simply liking animals. It's about building trust with both you and your pet, taking the time to understand their individual needs, and providing the same level of care and attention I would expect for my own fur babies.
My aim is to make every booking a positive experience for your pets and a reassuring one for you.
I work flexible hours and I am available during both weekdays and weekends.
Yes, I offer overnight sits. These will be in your own home and are the perfect care option for your pets whilst you're away.
Yes, I am fully insured and have a clear DBS check for your peace of mind.
Yes, I am trained in pet first aid, meaning I have the knowledge and skills to act quickly and accordingly. In the event of an emergency, I am confident to deliver CPR and other life saving care. I will communicate with you and your emergency contacts and I will seek appropriate veterinary care.
Detailed and personalised emergency plans can be discussed during our meet and greet and my consent forms do detail consent surrounding this topic.
Yes, I have a fully equipped vehicle to transport your dogs safely and securely to and from their walks. For dogs who don't like being in cars, I am also able to walk them directly from your home.
Yes, lots of the dogs I care for are rescue dogs so I understand the patience and commitment required for many dogs who have had challenging pasts. I also have a rescue German Shepherd myself and on various occasions I have spent time volunteering at dog shelters, both at home and abroad, in countries such as Thailand and Greece. I understand that every dog is different and some dogs may take a little longer to build a trusting bond but one of my favourite things about this job is creating confidence-building relationships with the dogs I care for.
